Extreme enjoyment at Extrema Outdoor! Under the beaming sun, no fewer than 70,000 festival-goers danced their cares away in 2023. The eleventh edition of Extrema Outdoor was an absolute success. The electronic festival offers visitors a unique experience with a diversity of music styles, creative stages and a vibrant festival culture.
The challenge
Optimizing the festival experience
For the Extrema Outdoor Festival, the team was looking for solutions to several POS system challenges. They wanted an integrated online and mobile POS system, acceptance of cash and cashless payments, and an efficient mobile order-taking system. They also wanted a well-coordinated waiter system with backup printers and a focus on security and fraud prevention. The goal was to enhance the festival experience with smooth and organized service.
The solution
Smart selling through good insight
The VIP Deck offered several solutions to ensure a great experience. The advanced Online POS POS system lets tables register and place orders. Visitors can checkout at the bar, and cash and cashless payments are possible. The Mobile POS allows employees to take orders and receipts are automatically printed at the bar. The waiter system helps waiters keep track of performance, and backup printers provide continuity in case of technical problems.
