Tomorrow's dance floor. Het Sieraad in Amsterdam-West is embracing the transition from coins to completely cashless. This beautiful former school building, which comes alive at night as a vibrant house/techno club, has no less than 8 Turbo POS and 1 S1F2, giving them a perfect overview of sales per terminal and per bar at the end of an evening. As a cooperation partner of Sjef Payments, they are completely ready for the future.
Het Sieraad
Where events come to life!
Het Sieraad is the place to come together. Whether hosting a large conference or intimate private dinner, this venue has the perfect event space for any occasion. With five unique spaces, the venue can accommodate groups from 10 to 1,200+ people. But this former school building offers more than just beautiful event spaces - it also has Amsterdam's tastiest terrace and the renowned restaurant Daalder, led by talented chef Dennis Huwaë.
Amsterdam has so many hidden gems, but there is one that stands out and absolutely should not be overlooked. Indeed, the Atrium, the covered courtyard of this Amsterdam national monument, has for years been home to legendary parties such as EdelWise, Komm Schon Alter and Blessed Nights.
The challenge
Strive for service excellence at the bar
Het Sieraad in Amsterdam is the ultimate hotspot for house/techno lovers looking for energetic parties at night. Previously the club only accepted coins, but now they are expanding their service to include debit card capabilities, while still accepting cash payments via cash cards to meet everyone's needs. However, turnover in the last few hours was found to be minimal with coins, which prompted the club to pursue a new payment method to improve the overall visitor experience and increase revenue.
The solution
Completely cashless on the dance floor
The organization is opting for innovation and flexibility by accommodating everyone with hybrid payments. For example, they let visitors choose whether to pay by bank card or cash card. This means that everyone can easily checkout without worrying about cash. Visitors load up the cash cards and use them at the bar. There are also 8 Turbo POS systems installed at fixed locations on the bars. This software and hardware are specifically designed to work offline, and can run up to 10 to 12 hours on one battery. Perfect for parties.
To make things even more flexible, the S1F2 was also chosen. This is an all-in-one Android device with printing capability; ideal for people who want their own receipt. In this way, Het Sieraad is ready to welcome everyone and accommodate their payment preferences.

Results
Increased revenue and improved insights
We see the biggest impact reflected in sales, especially during the late hours. The Jewel managed to nurture every visitor experience by successfully integrating cash cards into the cashless system. The cloud-based system the organization works with makes it easy to make products and changes at the POS. This allows them to make instant adjustments when an item is sold out. In addition, LED lighting on the edges of the terminals makes it easy to see throughput.
The choice of hybrid payments allows for a digital breakdown of revenue by terminal and bar at the end of the evening. This is not only convenient for administration, but also provides insight into what has worked well and what visitors need more of. The organization now has detailed insights to continually improve the visitor experience.
