One such challenge was in effectively managing token sales and combating fraud, while striving to ensure a smooth and hassle-free festival experience.

With thousands of enthusiastic festival-goers enjoying a variety of drinks and snacks, it was a complex task for Mysteryland's bartenders to keep track of the crowds per bar, ensure that all refreshments were charged correctly and deal with the challenges of the deposit system.

Mysteryland chose to implement token registration using the Sjef Token Package. This system allowed Mysteryland to record all token intakes and transactions in real time, giving them full insight into their financial processes. Efficiency and Fraud Prevention with coin registration

Registering consumption tokens gave Mysteryland insight into crowds per bar and allowed teams to work more efficiently, while preventing fraud.

With real-time visibility into crowds per bar, the team was able to quickly respond to changes and take service to the next level. In addition, coin counting was simplified, even with deposit orders.

Mysteryland already had positive experiences with Sjef at other cashless events, and the ability to have all the data from different events in one dashboard played an important role in choosing Sjef.

Although a long-term partnership with ID&T already existed, Mysteryland was excited to deploy token registration terminals for the first time, further enhancing their festival experience.
